The Crew of the USS StarTraveler for her second mission are all either members of Starfleet that have been removed from one ship or more due to problems or reprimands connected with their old crews, troublesome officers, or officers facing the end of their career from either age or consequences, stretching from end of career to just out of Starfleet Academy. This is why the ship has been dubbed by many to be the "Second Chance Ship".
REDACTED FROM PUBLIC RECORD
Captains Washington and Ruby are never to be separated onto different starships for ANY reason, due to the unique circumstances surrounding the two captains.
